1. Be my comfort, Lord.
Let Your love enfold me.
I take solace, Lord,
in the promise of Your Word.
Be my comfort, Lord.
Give me understanding.
In my trials, Lord,
may Your Word be ever there.
Thy Word is faithful, Lord!
Thy Word is my delight!
2. Be my comfort, Lord.
May Your Word sustain me.
Give me strength, my Lord,
for the burdens that I bear.
Be my comfort, Lord.
Did Your hands not form me?
May my life, my God,
be a Witness to Your love.
